aj, I can only speak of Brinker's methods when I took his newsletter. I stopped a few years ago. I don't know what he has said or written about 1450 or 1300. Nor do I know the validity of anything reported second- and third-hand of what he has said or written.

But I don't think his pattern of thought is any different now than then. It could be that anything he said about 1450 was just a reiteration by him that investors should continue to dollar-cost-average in; and that any level below 1300 would be an opportunity to go all in.

To understand Brinker, one should also know that he could indicate an all-in at one time then issue another all-in several months later. This makes sense because it is not uncommon for windfall gains from inheritance, gifts, et cetera. So anyone who went all-in at one occasion, may have a new opportunity to do it again.
