On April 10, 2008, Stephen T. Reeders submitted his resignation to the Board of Directors of Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the "Company"), effective as of 5:00 p.m. on June 4, 2008, the date of the Company's 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. Reeders' decision to resign from the Company's Board of Directors is not the result of any disagreement with the Company, known to an executive officer of the Company, on any matter relating to the registrant's operations, policies or practices.
