Yes, a decline of that magnitude and within that time frame has precedence. Note that the SPX declined from 1173 on March, 03,2002 to 769 on October,06,2002. That is a 404 point decline in seven (7) months. So what I am suggesting is a 582 point decline in eight naf half (8.5) months.
