Thanks for the insight - there was a hugh discussion on whether to add rabbit manure on the lower level before putting the potatoes in. Luckily we did not - just added some 5-10-10 with bone meal along with the bug killer. Dad wasn't real happy but so be it. He has the richest soil in Washington as it is, so I think they will be OK <gg> Dad is almost 89 and is getting just a little ornery.
