Correct... we canceled two of those shareholder meetings! C'mon now, we should rejoice in anticipation of the fruition of what appears to be a well-planned and now being executed plan to bring water to an absolutely huge market. It's awesome!!!
However, let's not overlook the fact that we've had fumbles... canceled meetings, ignored previous dealings with ne'er-do-wells, promised newsletters that never appeared, incorrect filings (Aquagold USA instead of Int'l), CEO disappearing acts with zero warning, promises of PR's that have not happened (contracts), CEO being summoned by the Chinese Olympic committee with no follow-up (other than him resigning), and we've seen too much lack of professionalism in print. Ergo, I do not have to give Steve credit.
I give AQUI credit for putting together what is ostensibly a very, very complex and difficult deal with a government (China) that is known for bureaucracy and delay. Congratulations AQUI!!! Show me the contracts! I've been patient as heck, as we all have who have stayed the course. I do however, believe Manny only waived letters of intent at the meeting and they are frantically trying to convert those to actual contracts, and I think they will. They have awesome players and partners in this endeavor with Wolong and with Lianhua. Those are two of the best in their industry and we have exceeded my expectations in both those partners, but we can't ignore the fact that we are 1/3 of our high.
