Think about the process of investigative journalism, which is the format and presentation of the A@P piece.

You gather facts, apparent problems and discrepancies, and you go to the CEO and give him or her a chance to reply and clarify. You then check further to determine the meaning and seriousness of any discrepancies.

None of this is done here. The article is a masterpiece of selected and edited information presented to engender fear in longs. The bear market timing is perfect. But, hey, this is life on the BB's.
