I don't know about shooting stars, but I do know that this does not appear to be the type of market action one sees during bull market rallies. The market action appears more like distribution and that bodes well if you are short, but not long.
You may get your reward tomorrow. For me I sold the last of my longs today. I still see an inverse H & S pattern on the SPX daily, but caution is warranted as we are into resistance.
