While my Marine didn't ever exchange deadly force with others I've had conversations with family members who did.. plus there are other events as sad or mind-altering experienced by those of us who have never served in a combat zone.

Thus who is to say or judge where or when each of us goes to the dark side and learns to cope with it...or not, in their own way.

BTW, why don't we ever hear from Dougie anymore?
