No, you are wrong. Blessing has nothing to do with salvation. God can bless whom He pleases, when He pleases, and for whatever reason He pleases.

The only way for any individual (since the cross) to end up in Heaven is to accept God's free gift of forgiveness of their sins by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
