Good one Midas. Actually since I am applying for residency here in Panama, I did as a matter of fact ask Pedro what ID looks like generally speaking for Panama, as well as what advice he might offer for the type of status I should apply for etc.. This was several months ago. He showed me his identification when I asked him, and I asked if he could show me what his Cuban identification looks like (since I had never seen that before). If I had thought this was going to be an important point of concern then I would have mentioned this previously to you and your friends, albiet I am not sure how it would have been received. I can guess of course :)
He actually was asked to produce his identification for one of the buildings I visited with him. He has what looks like genuine documentation for Cuba and Panama to me. Should I ask him about Costa Rica as well?? Was I supposed to get pictures?? Now we are not talking about seeing identification with multiple identities, then of course one might be a little suspicious.. I guess it was a concidence that he had all the documents prepared just knowing I would most likely ask, and boom there it was all ready to go and fabricated at that.. I asked him Midas to show me. It was not the other way around like he was all too willing to show me so I would come running back to IHUB to report to you and the others about this.
Yup it is him alright, unless there are 2 people who go by the name Pedro Borges Fiol (who have both Cuban and Panamanian identification)... I don't think I would copy his information, and post that info here on IHUB if I had it in my possession, anymore than I would post my license or passport information on IHUB.. Wouldn't be very wise would it??
I cannot speak on the subject of how easy or not it may be to fabricate identification as I do not have that type of a mind, but IMO no more easy here than back home in the US I suppose. And from what I saw, it would have had to have been someone highly professional to pull off those ID's.
Now it is easy to say a person can fabricate identification, but if we go down that road Midas where does it end. Really then we could say this about anyone...
