I think you're right. Face it: there're a lot of unenlightened men out there. You need look no further than the IHub message boards. How many times have you watched men attack female posters they've never even SEEN, characterizing them as "ugly" or "fat"? Can they counter the women's arguments? Nah. But it's enough to call 'em fat and/or ugly, and you can be sure that other Neanderthals will join in.

Do these guys ever call other men "ugly" or "fat"? Don't think so. I've been the recipient of many, many absolutely vile posts written by men unable to counter my arguments. I've often wondered what their wives would think if they ever saw them.
