I don't believe that Stephanie hates Obama.

I'm surprised that you think that she does.

I don't either. In fact, she's said quite clearly that if Obama wins the nomination, she'll vote for him.

I'm just not getting all the hatred floating around on both sides. Both candidates are intelligent people who have good ideas. Their positions don't differ greatly, which, I suppose, is why--for their supporters--things have become so personal.

Whatever the reason for it, it needs to STOP. In reality, this campaign hasn't been especially vicious, compared to many campaigns of the past. Nobody's been beating up on either Clinton or Obama the way George Bush beat up on McCain in 2000.

I think everyone needs to chill. Within a little more than two months, a nominee will have been named. Whoever loses will support the winner. The loser's fans must do the same, unless they seriously want another four years of Bushyness as usual.
