The PR news story MAY be real, it may not be. Perhaps at one time, Xinwie WAS in talks with CGGP and for some reason, it's kaput. Messalas would have HAD to put his PR out and word it the way it was worded. He couldn't come out and say "Well, we WERE in talks with them, but now we're not". Best course was to deny the whole thing imo. Maybe that VP guy didn't know the talks were off before he spoke. Maybe they ARE still on and the monkey slipped on the peel before he got to the door. Who knows???

ANYTHING is possible here. But I disagree with people who say that this will never go anywhere. IMO, if not this deal, maybe something else, and no one should hold Messalas responsible if in fact, he wasn't. Remember our innocent/guilt laws people.
