It works both ways, but that formula usually coincides with "accumulation"....
Grindupgrindupgrindup, and then the fast re-set...
In a longer time frame look at the Nasdaq from the 2nd week of January until now, we did 9 weeks of grinding down and then 2 weeks to take back 7 of those down weeks...
IMO this is distribution of the tech sector and while individule stocks will out-perform or go against the flow, I think the market has seen it's better days...
This doesn't mean we can't tag new highs, I'm just saying if you're a "long term" investor now is not the time to be buying stocks...
