LOL! You wouldn't believe how that day went. I arrived at the studio and was trying to pull a box from the back seat of the car. It was kind of stuck because I always have my seat all the way back, so I pulled hard to get it out.
My hands slipped, and I punched myself in the nose, and blood started gushing out! I'm supposed to go on in a couple hours, and my nose is bleeding like crazy!
Well, I got that under control, and went to prepare my stuff. I had lots of bubble wrap on it, but no knife, so I went to one of the kitchen sets to borrow a kitchen knife to cut it. Well, the knife worked fine, but the case I was cutting free scraped one of my hands and cut it in several places, so I'm bleeding on my hand now!
The kitchen staff had band-aids, so I got that covered, but I'm still supposed to go on TV and demonstrate stuff with my hands!
More stuff happened too. I had planned to tell the producers just before I went on that I had Tourette's just to make the time more exciting for them (I don't really have it), but I had so many other things going on I didn't have the chance. They said they heard I was a little nervous (no, I was just a bit edgy because there was so much last minute stuff going on that I had to take care of). They would have absolutely crapped if I'd told them that.
