I think the guy has serious personal problems. He may be intelligent and charismatic, but that's hardly grounds to make him President. His supporters seem to believe that the only debate that can take place is whether people are happy to be at war and in a recession. Any examination into whether Obama would actually make a better President than McCain is old politics. The new politics is to select the least experienced candidate. Old politics has brought us to where we are. Since we want to be somewhere else, we should pick someone who hasn't been a part of the Washington process. Why Obama then? Couldn't we find a nice, kind hearted janitor somewhere who has never been in politics at all, and has never done anything wrong in his life, had any questionable associations, or confessed to using bad judgement and boneheaded decisions over and over.
