I read just a few lines of the linked article to realize that it's rubbish. Mohammed clearly viewed Allah as the God of Abraham, just as Christians and Jews do. It's absurd to say that Christians, Jews, and Muslims worship a different God because of the name. Within Christianity, we don't all use the word 'God', to refer to the Lord. A Spaniard prays to 'Dios', a German to 'Gott', no one suggests that they are different gods. The Bible refers to Yahweh, Elohim, The Lord, God, Christ, Holy Spirit, all in regards to the same divinity.
