Good plan - I'll vote for you. Much of the noise we hear these days is merely to fill the 24/7 news cycle of cable TV.

This is what we learned from cable TV this week: Over and over we heard Geraldine Ferrara's racial comment, followed up with more dumb comments when she went on morning TV shows...I learned the details of a married pol who was involved in a call girl ring and had to resign in disgrace...then I was treated to seeing a Chicago preacher make bigoted comments while preaching as a "christian"...and oh, btw, one of the largest American investment banking corps is on the verge of going belly up and may be taken over by another Wall Street giant next week - this REALLY could effect me, yet it got less than 1/2 day coverage on cable TV.
