pt, since the 6-EMA hugs price so closely, why not just something more simple, like a close above the 50EMA? I looked back over some older charts from the mid 90's and that worked just as good or better.

I used to believe strongly in M/A cross-overs, but Larry Dudash has studied them extensively and found other indicators perform much better, and I tend to agree.
