This is a global shift in marketing strategy by the major owners of the resources away from American oil interests. It could be a sign of future trends, and perhaps a new national energy policy will become ever more vital to American interests as the oil is taken away from the U.S. Consumer. The east already knows the west has the technology to become totally energy independent.
