Neuro, Any ideas on how oral dosing would be done in rats? Would they put it in their food, or via a tube into their stomach, etc, I wonder? Something tells me that oral dosing in animals is not something that is routinely done, so there may not be that much data available for our CX-717/RD situation. They obviously did enough to show a 'dose response', but beyond that I wonder if they pushed it so far as to try to observe full reversal of RD? If they did, and they achieved full reversal/prevention, that would be very encouraging for our chances in the human trial. I'm going to email Dr. Stoll with the question, and I'll post if I get a reply.
