Companies reach drilling and technology agreement

Tom Fedog, president of Sense Technology (Kristiansand, Norway), and Martin Kershman, president of ElectroWave (Houston, Texas), have announced that Sense Technology AS and ElectroWave USA Inc. have reached an agreement to share and develop complementary drilling and marine technology, while jointly providing sales and support of current products to their combined customer base onshore and offshore the United States, the North Sea, Southeast Asia, West Africa, the Mediterranean, Brazil, Russia, India and the Middle East.

Sense Technology provides integrated drilling instrumentation, controls and drillers' cabins to offshore drilling companies. Current projects include system deliveries to Global Santa Fe, Exxon, BP, Statoil, Saipem and ConocoPhillips.



ElectroWave provides standard and electronic drilling instrumentation, marine ballast control systems and machinery plant control and monitoring systems for onshore and offshore installations. Current projects and deliveries include drilling and marine instrumentation systems for several major drilling companies, a U.S. Coast Guard Great Lakes ice breaker and three 4,400-passenger ferries.
