Gee, I guess Mexicans should begin resenting all of the Gringoes who choose to live in Mexico. While the Americans living in Mexico, undoubtedly add to the Mexican economy, you could make a xenophobic argument that they raise the costs of living for the native MexicaN population. The Gringos like the climate and lower costs of living in Mexico, they are relatively affluent compared to the indigenous population. That means they are producing incremental demand for food, health care, housing, fuel, etc., leading to higher prices than if they weren't there. Of course, there are offsetting benefits as well.

NAFTA is not the reason Ohio has lost jobs. It would be helpful if the Democrats would deliver the same speeches about NAFTA in Texas as they do in Ohio.
