mk, you nailed it. one of the primary benefits for us in getting to the amex will be the potential for many more institutional investors to come aboard. their charters currently prohibit a majority of these firms from buying OTCBB stocks, so just getting there will open the stock up to much greater liquidity.
i'd say DR and TB know this, too. many of us have previously mentioned uplisting as a key part of DPDW's strategy since they first went public, but now we're getting to the point where the groundwork has been laid, and things could really come together quickly.
a more focused retail base will also come with an amex listing. these are traders who will ultimately help push the stock around the chart, but what's most important imo about a more sophisticated retail component is there won't be so many flippers. most will know what they own, and will stick around to see deep down grow into a mature company. jmho.
