I have a 401k with Vanguard, from my job that i used to have. It's been sitting in money market fund for a while. Last week I finally moved half of it out of money market into their primecap fund... i just got the confirmation statement from them and part of it says - "Vanguard limits participant exchange activity. You cannot exchange money into and then out of the same Vanguard fund more than four times in any 12 month period. Each "round trip" must be at least 90 days apart"
I want to be able to trade it more than that, so I'm looking for something more flexible...
Any suggestions for rollover into a more flexible type of 401k account???
What seems a joke is all these funds that were trading illegally after hours for the big clients... so looks like they have changed the rules, to screw the small guy... I don't think Vanguard had these limitations the last time I moved funds around in that account.
