Tom, concordar I concur I am as guilty as anyone, but nothing ruins a party quicker than politics and religion. Besides it's salmon season opening next week. I'm itching for a speedier Powerbook, I'm tired of my AiPB fumbling around trying to muster enough juice to run OSX and some of Apple's basic apps. Even simple little iChat brings my system to a halt. I won't even consider their desktops, until I can get a G5 for $1000 or less, that performs as well as an Athlon 1.8. I worked on a $799.00 Athlon a couple of weeks ago and believe it made me feel like a sucker to be such a Mac snob.
