David Standring and Paul Fanning — EVP Biology and SVP
Human Resources, respectively — filed SEC Form-3 today.
Form-3 is the first filing for an insider who will subsequently
report all transactions in company shares on Form-4.

Neither Standring or Fanning is a new employee; they are new
Form-4 filers because they were promoted to executive-officer
status during 2007.

As of 2/22/08, Standring owned 60K shares and 135K options
while Fanning owned 1K shares and 130K options. (Some of
these options are far out of the money).
