But..there Is no mention of the thickness.. of the ice... (most of the melt has been from below... The heat IS.. In the oceans)
or mention of... sulfur dioxide emissions increase from Chinese coal fired plants.... having a short term effect on cooling.. (China opens a new coal fired plant..every 10 days..)
the problem is.. SO2 remains in the atmosphere... approx for 4 years...... the CO2 released at the same time.. remains for 75+ years
Nobel Prize winning Scientist (Atmospheric Chemistry...) Paul Crutzen.. has suggested.. high altitude release of SO2 as a stop gap solution to run away warming.. China ..'may be' releasing enough..SO2 to stave off the warming. but its release of CO2.. will only come back to haunt us... The heat IS..In the oceans
