You mentioned "new server". What hardware are you going to be using?

All Dell equipment running W2K and W2K3. The db is a 4600 with 6 36-gig 15k rpm drives configured as RAID5, and 8 gig of memory and a pair of 3.06Ghz Xeon processors.

While under development, the 4600 has also been the webserver, but we'll soon have the new webserver ordered which'll be similar to iHub's. A 2650 with 4 gig of memory and a pair of 3.06's.

Unfortunately, according to the sales rep, Dell doesn't offer anything that'll use multiple processors, IDE drives, and 4 gig of memory. I really don't need the expense of SCSI drives in a webserver, especially the 3-disk RAID5 setup for iHub. That was a bit of overkill. And I might not need 4 gig of memory. iHub's server is doing fine on 2 gig.

The db server cost about $10k (hardware only) and the webserver's going to be in the $4-5k range.
