Ghana, China, Iran and Chevron’s pipeline. Does this formula sound familiar?

Accra, March 26, GNA - A 90-member Iranian Economic Delegation is expected to pay a two-day visit to Ghana from Tuesday March 30 to March 31.

The delegation to be led by Dr Kamal Kharrazi, Iranian Foreign Minister, would hold discussions with their Ghanaian counterparts on trade and investments opportunities.

A statement issued in Accra on Friday and signed by Mr Kodua Edjekumhene, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and President's Special Initiative (PSI), said a bilateral trade agreement between Ghana and Iran would be signed.

It said discussions would be held in energy; agricultural and food processing; petroleum; dam construction; financial activities; carpet trading; Information Technology (IT) and export/import trading.
