folly...
As I said, and most careful observers would agree, Obama does not have the experience needed to be seriously considered to become President of the United States. He has precious little legislative experience, and has governed nothing -- not a small company in private enterprise, not a larger corporation, not a city, not a state. Nothing. He has no foreign experience, and no economic experience on any level.
Hillary has a little experience, although most of it is indirect and more political than substantive. Huckabee has been the chief executive officer of a state, and McCain has a good deal of experience as a multi-term Senator who has been involved in matters of important legislation in a leadership role. Spin it like you will, Obama is not qualified by experience to be President of the US.
I heard Huckabee's comments on the Constitution and it was a foolish thing to say. In an ideal world, Christian values would be inculcated in the Constitution, yes, but this is far, far, from a perfect world and the Christian worldview would not be tolerated by most of US citizenry. I would like to see abortion no longer sanctioned by law, and if amending the constitution is the only way to obtain that, I would support such a move. I would also strongly support an amendment that declares that marriage is an institution that is reserved only for a union between one man and one woman.
