At this time there is no Intellectual Propery issue with the Integrity airplane because it is stilll in the design phase, but once the aircraft is built and passes the structual and flight requirements and certified then the company that made the application for certification is the owner of the Intellectual Property of that airplane. The problem with the Integrity program is that PVD plans to use much of the origiinal certification data from the BN Trislander to cut down on the three or more years normally required for design, build, and certification, but he can not do that now because he does not own the rights. I do not think the Trislander design data is of much use any way. When you turn a three engine airplane into a single engine airplane with the single engine being bigger than all three of the Trislander engines, the structual changes are massive, and I do not think any certifying authority will buy in to that idea very quickly.
