Yes, in an ideal world, vigilance from the shareholder base would filter up to management. So when Dew calls IR and tells them straight up that they messed up, maybe it trickles to management?

You're right though. I meant it more for us poor retail slobs. We generally do a bad job of being objective, but we're damn good rationalizers. It's the latter that gets us into trouble.
