Right.
But, the way around that is to get good oscillator indicators and trust them and buy/sell them. Goes against the psyche grain, sure. But that's what we get paid for in this game.
Another must is to have an iron-clad personal rule to take only small losses, and never let any loss run. One doesn't have to be right on initial direction even half the time if he/she will stay with that rule 100% of the time.
