Long QID feb 52 puts at .80.
Faded the gap down open as per usual.
It doesn't work always, not by any means, but one can usually figure it out in advnce from the premartet talk on CNBC and the coincidental action of the pre-market. What I try to do is decide whether the premarket has sufficiently discounted the news.
In today's case, I thought so.
Edit: Of course, the oscillators need to be in favor as well, or it's no go.
Today, I used influence from Chaiken for the first time as a recently added indicator (on the 15-minute, my default for intraday trading). I've been watching it for a couple of weeks now, and on QID this morning, it dived through 0 simultaneous with my other usual indicators being favorable.
