argyll, you can suggest we should feel concerned about the increasing volume, but please qualify it as your opinion instead of some fact written in stone. imo there's no way to pull a chart out of a trend like this without increased buying and selling. capitulation doesn't happen with a whimper, and if there is any sort of short position in play that brought us to these levels, covering that short won't be a quiet little moment, either. furthermore, if we have any remaining block trades that were set up for various bidders, perhaps a few more out of market trades, these won't be small transactions. it all adds up to volume. jmho.
