Wow, I forgot all about President's Day on Monday.

Many holidays are only for civil servants and some banks, so it's hard for me to remember them when they're coming up.

MLK, President's Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans' Day are holidays that are for government workers, not the rest of us.

Some businesses took away those holidays the past 20-years and gave people personal days in return.

With the local, state, and Federal governments all bleeding, I wonder what it's going to take to privatize some of these bloated, over-compensated positions?

Most of the over-compensation is in the form of defined benefit plans, holidays, and early retirement, not salary.
