folly...

I think your problem is not against racism, it is against free speech and pro political correctness run amuck.

Why do you have a problem with people stating their honest opinion on a topic just because it involves racial issues? I think it is patently obvious that Rendell's statement that there are some folks in Pennsylvania that are not ready to vote for a black man for president is true. I suspect that there are folks in every state that feel that way, so why do you castigate him for stating the obvious??

Rendell apparently feels that his margin of victory would have been closer if he had been running against a white candidate. I have no idea if that is true or not, but one thing I do know is that he has been in Pennsylvania politics for all his life and he knows more about it than you or I put together. Again, why do you cast aspersion on him for stating his opinion??

And why do you castigate Fox for airing a segment on the subject?? His comments were obviously in the news, so why not cover it, and just because they had a commentator on who agreed with Rendell, you are all in a dither and call them racist, even though that commentator was himself black. The fact that Fox reported on the FACT that there is racism and sexism and other "ism's" still in our society does not make them racist and sexist. The show does not pretend to be a straight news show, it is political commentary.

The bottom line is that they had comments with which you disagreed. That does not make them racist.
