Carter is no fool and nor is Williams - the IMNX sale to AMGN was one of the best deals ever - and they are not going to let Wall Street destroy shareeholder value forever. They are having to catch up to WS's tricks, for which they were obviously unprepared. But they are learning fast - hence the job cuts and the bank financing of inventory. Carter stated that shareholder value was the game right at the outset of the CC. We'll see.
