When taken in context with the dad's letter/article, which is what you replied to, your response was not that innocent.
The question remains: did BOTH the young man who joined the military and subsequently died in Iraq AND his dad who did not/does not agree with The Decider's war in Iraq demonstrate a "sense of duty to their country"? A "yes" or "no" would suffice.
