The best thing that I have found is that if you are confused then ask the question and someone will explain it to you. If you feel like no one is listening then ask a professor directly. Read the I box here and on Freto's page. They both have a lot of information. Charts are cool has a good group of chartists that can help and if you like a specific stock then they will annotate a chart for you if you ask them nicely. Sometimes you might be overlooking something. If you don't understand why a stock chart is "great" then ask the person who posted it to tell you what they see. It is a really good way to learn.
