mikemargin: Your gas to condiments that have gone up in price is similar to our bagels to doggie-bones that have gone up in price. It ain't pretty and it hurts. But it's not inflation; it's rising prices. Only government can crate inflation...and the consequence of inflation is, eventually, rising prices. Ok, I'm splitting hairs [now that's a strange phrase] but call it what you want, the result is the same. Give corporations the opportunity, and they'll bump their prices up: to cover "their" rising costs or to boost profits.
