The partnership was only going to be for a few million, not enough.

Well if the partnership was only going to be for a few million ( which would have surprised the heck out of everyone) you're probably right...Then again, for a few million bucks I'm sure there would have been a resounding chorus of "Why do a partnership for that chump change"
