When I attended the lovenox trial in Los Angeles, one of the patent attorneys attending the trial told me about the Walker case. He told me that SA had a lot at stake if they were finally held to have obtained the patent by fraud. He also suggested that SA would be responsible for treble damages.
I do not practice in that area so I am not able to reach an informed view. But this should be a big worry for SA.
