Petemantx...Survival. Without the full carry's and the cash that came with the deals, ERHC would have ballooned their already large OS paying basic bills. The full carry was a necessity not knowing the time period to acceptable offers IMHO.

Equator Exploration is now going to emulate ERHC's mode of operation after learning the hard way (i.e. full carry). They are cash strapped and their sp shows it (they are not under investigation like ERHC).
