Good point. I do not know the answer to that. Perhaps recruited means that they simply agreed that the patient will use ATryn for his procedure when that takes place. However, if that is the case, I do not think that GTCB would even be able to anticipate that the results will be out around the end of January. Based on the fact that they did say that, I am assuming, perhaps erroneously, that recruited means that the procedure had already taken place...
Their exact statement was:
"Due to patient scheduling decisions, top line results of the clinical study are now expected to be available around the end of January."
I guess that leaves room for interpretation but my assumption was that the scheduling and the operations had taken place by Jan 7...
