Strange the guys did not bring the phase of the moon into consideration. In January the Naz was well ahead of itself and excessive exuberance reign, now we are getting a little fear in the market possibly enough to create a bottom. The dividend exclusion and cutting of top rate has nothing to do with the economy, IMTO. The fact of the matter ias, as I have mentioned before, it is the wrong action at the wrong time. There is no shortage of money to be invested by business (small or large) and the ax cut did not stimulate such investments (thus the "job-less recovery"), the problem is visibility of growth in end aggregate demand and for that a completely different type of tax cut would have been required (and I discussed this issue as well).
