Yep, stick to what ya know and are comfortable with. I am an engineer; I like the number aspect of the markets. I have found I like to analyze the markets, but I do not do too well translating that work into good buy/sell signals. Proof of this is the return in my 401(K) over the last 5 years: 4.1% annualized. I would have done better in a CD. So, I found a fund that I understand and like their method, and stuck most of my money in that. I still have money to play with, but it will not have a huge impact on my returns and will let me hone my lousy skills as a trader.

I am sure that you have done better than this!! :O)
