OT: Has anyone else had this experience?

AMTD sold a stock to me that they can't resell. I bought the stock under the symbol DTSNV. It appeared in my account for a few days under that symbol. Then the symbol disappeared and was replaced with an N/A. I sent AMTD a query which did not elicit a response but the following day the symbol reappeared in my account. Then a few days later it again disappeared from my account. The quantity and price have remained posted in my account but is not salable according to the following message from AMTD in response to my second query.

According to the account history XXXXX shares of Datascension were purchased on XX/XX/04. This security may only be held in the name of the beneficial owner in certificate form.

Because Ameritrade only holds shares in street name (negotiable form), the shares will be delivered to you in certificate form by regular registered mail. Our information indicates that Datascension is a ?when issued? security; therefore, the certificate will not be delivered until the shares are delivered. There is an anticipated delivery date for these ?when issued? shares showing as 12/30/05.
