floseal now uses human thrombin (the gelatin component is still cow derived)

regardless, my main point is zgen does not need a baxter or anyone else to partner with to get meaningful sales because the stand alone thrombin market is substantial. sure it would be nice down the road to look into follow on products to expand use, but again i think if they partner they will steer clear of plasma and bovine products

incidentally, zgen has a gel formulation in early development that could compete with floseal down the road
